Born on March 24, 1991, in Augusta, Georgia, Shaquan Drayton—better known in the music world as ShayShay2Hott—was destined to stand out. Although she only weighed 3 pounds 11 ounces at birth, she came into this world a fighter, a trait that’s carried her through every stage of life.
Raised in the Bottom area of East Augusta by her Aunt Peggy, whom she calls a second mother. But despite being brought up by her Aunt, ShayShay also carries the influence of her own mother, Jeanice Drayton—better known as TBone, a local legend with an infectious sense of humor who’s loved by everyone.
ShayShay discovered her love for hip hop at just 11 years old, inspired by her cousin Lil Thomas, whose passion for rap lit a fire in her own creativity. Although she had been rhyming for years, it wasn’t until about six years ago that she decided to take her craft seriously, pouring her life experiences, resilience, and ambition into her music.
In 2022, she was voted Best Female Hip Hop Artist, cementing her presence in the Georgia music scene. Now a proud mother of four—Alexi, Colby Jr., Brock, and Rayne Weaver—ShayShay2Hott balances her role as a parent with her relentless drive to succeed in the industry.
Currently, she’s focused on delivering a powerful single EP, with plans to follow up with a full 10-track album. Her ultimate goal? To become a successful, respected music artist who turns her story into a legacy.
From Augusta’s streets to the main stage, ShayShay2Hott is here to prove that the girl from the Bottom can rise all the way to the top.
